In 2014 Elizabeth Paul ran for the Maryland House of Delegates in the two-member District 2A in Washington County. Having grown up in the southern part of the county near Gapland and graduating from Boonsboro High School, Elizabeth knows that Washington County is a unique and vibrant area with wonderful natural resources, a rich history, and generous community-oriented residents. She believes Washington County can again become the economically successful area it once was while still maintaining its important agricultural roots, protecting its historical resources, and safeguarding its natural beauty. As a 19-year public school teacher, she understands the importance of high-quality education as well as job opportunities and economic growth. Elizabeth has a proven track record of bipartisanship, ethical leadership, and community involvement. She is committed to working for the best interests of Washington County residents. Elizabeth will provide a voice of reason as the State Delegate for Washington County’s District 2A.

» Public school teacher since 1997, including 11 years at Frederick County’s alternative middle/high school for students with significant behavioral challenges.
